Playing tag with 100 children! You have to run away from the children so you won’t get caught!

Meat! Meat! Vegetable! Meat! Toast marshmallow for dessert!

火を囲んで夢を語り、ダンシングナイト！
Sit around the fire, talk about your dreams, and dance!

くら〜い森の中での肝試し・・・おばけ役がやりたい方大歓迎！
Playing ghost game in the dark woods・・・・・We welcome ghost volunteers!

みなさんの国はどんな国ですか？日本と違うところはどこですか？たくさんのことを教えて下さい！

いろいろな国のあいさつとクイズに挑戦！みなさんには問題を出題してもらいます！
Challenge some greetings from many countries and quizzes! We will have you ask these questions!

みなさんに海賊になって宝を守ってもらいます！勝負はもちろんロック・ペーパー・シザーズで真剣勝負！
You will become a pirate and protect the treasures! You will battle by Rock-paper-scissors!

＊集合解散場所から活動施設までの往復は小学生と一緒に貸切バスで行き来しますので、交通費はかかりません。
＊ご自宅から集合解散場所までの交通費は自己負担をお願い致します。

＊ボランティアの方は参加費・宿泊費・食費すべて無料です（一切お金はかかりません）。

約100名の小学生が5グループにわかれます。1グループの編成は小学生約20名・日本人リーダー1名・留学生4〜5名になります。ボランティアの内容は下記になります。
①こどもたちの安全管理を留学生と一緒にして頂きます。
②こどもたちと一緒に楽しく遊んで頂きます。
③こどもたちに英語と日本語で話しかけて頂きます。
【留学生の役割】
②積極的に英語でコミュニケーションをとって頂きます。
【日本人の役割】
①グループリーダーとして、グループをまとめて頂きます。
②当スタッフからの指示をしっかりとグループの留学生や小学生に伝えて頂きます。
③日本人参加人数によって、補佐役をお願いすることがあります。
※補佐役の方には、グループリーダーのサポートやキャンプ全体のお手伝いをお願いします。

・1泊2日または2泊3日で参加できる方(1日のみの参加はできません)
・英語が日常会話レベルが出来る方(高いレベルは不要)
・こどもが大好きな方
・国際交流や海外が大好きな方
・集合解散場所まで交通費自己負担で来れる方
・無償ボランティアで参加できる方

＊You will not need to pay the transportation fee from the meeting/dismissal place to the camping
facility since you will be riding on a private bus with children.
＊It’s your own responsibility to come to the meeting place from your house (you will have to pay the
transportation fee).

＊For volunteers, participation fee, accommodation fee, and food expenses are all free (No money
needed during the camp).

100 elementary school students will be divided into 5 groups. Each group will consist of 20 students, 1 Japanese leader, and 4~5 international students.
The details for volunteer are as follows.
①Look after the children and insure their safety.
②Entertain children by playing and doing some activity with them.
③Speak with children by English and Japanese.
【Roles for international students】
①Tell children about your country’s culture.
②Communicate with children by English as much as possible.
【Roles of Japanese volunteers】
①As a group leader, we will have you lead the group.
②Tell the direction from the staff to children and international students in the group.
③Depending on the numbers of the Japanese participants, we may have you become an assistant
position of the group.
※For those who are assistant position, we ask them to support the group leader and the overall parts of the camp.

『国際交流＆イングリッシュキャンプ』を運営しております、“宮城復興支援センター”と申します。
当団体は2011年3月11日に発生した東日本大震災の4日後に設立され、宮城県・福島県・岩手県の人道支援（物資支援・避難所仮設住宅の運営支援・高齢者の運動及び心のケア支援・こどもの心のケア支援等）を行って参りました。震災により多くのこどもたちが心に傷を負いました。宮城復興支援センターでは、こどもたちに少しでも“笑顔と元気を取り戻すきっかけ”になってもらえればと、2012年より小学生100名と留学生など外国人30名が自然豊かな場所で思いっきり遊んでもらうための『国際交流&イングリッシュキャンプ』というプロジェクトを宮城県で立ち上げる運びとなりました。
2016年度までは宮城・東京・千葉・埼玉・神奈川で開催しており、お陰さまで2017年度からは福島・静岡・愛知・大阪でも開催することになりました。毎年多くのこどもたちに参加して頂き、有償でご参加頂くお子様の参加費用の一部を活用して下記を目的に継続開催しています。
＊各回100名参加（有償参加90名・無償参加10名）
【継続開催の目的】
①被災地の仮設住宅入居児童様及び被災地外に避難した避難生活児童様を“キャンプに無償招待”(各回10名)
②東北・関東の小学校に“留学生による出前授業の実施”(年間100校に無償出張)
③継続開催することで“防災意識・危機意識の向上”
④多国籍の外国人と交流することで“国際交流・多文化共生の促進”
以上を目的に開催しています。
主旨をご理解頂き、ぜひボランティアとしてご参加頂ければ幸いです。
